IS OUR ECONOMY HELPING US MAKE MORE OR LOOSING MORE?
The speed at which our cedi keeps depreciating to the dollar is killing most businesses in Ghana. Some are blaming it on the influx of importing more to the country than exporting more to other countries. Ghana is trying to turn the dollar into our currency than we making things possible to rise our Cedi which is falling totally.
Some experts are giving different opinions on how to make the cedi stable.
Some views are to stop the import and do not exports and others are saying to pump more dollars into the economy. Everyone is giving their views on how to make the cedi stable for business to survive in Ghana.
All what businesses are requesting for is to make business grow where all taxes are reasonable to be paid.
From my view, the importation of consumer goods especially should be stopped, where our consumer goods factory can all be revived to create jobs while we do more of export like other countries ,where now they ,are the leading and powerful countries. When we produce our own juices from our locally grown fruits, tomatoes paste like what Dangote has built in Nigeria this month to create jobs and avoid too many imported tomatoes paste into their country.
Most businesses are saying they are loosing more than they are to gain from their business.
Our leaders and experts should re-look at our economy very well to bring favorable decisions for the good of our country.
